I will be trying out their 3rd restaurant location in Milpitas this coming Friday (1/25) with another banquet type food and am waiting anxiously to see if this one will outdo the other two restaurants! Customers will love at least two of their three restaurants with quality food with reasonable price range at comfortable high end seatings! The multi-course meal was served fairly timely and still piping hot! This is amazing considered there were a total of 8 tables needed the same food, and the restaurant also has regular customers on a busy Friday of a long holiday weekend!! □ I was seated at one of 8 tables of 10 at a private room where the environment was quiet and spacious. Had the best banquet dinner food on Friday, 1/18/19, at the 2nd best Dim Sum Seafood Restaurant with family and friends (the first best restaurant is located in Daly City and that one already is proven to be excellent on dim sum and seafood meals). If you care about service, DON'T go to Koi Palace Dublin. This experience was not what I had expected from supposedly one of the top rated restaurants. And, 6 out of 10 desert forks had stains. Adding insult to injury, they even failed to input the last 4 dishes into their computer. We stayed, because finding another restaurant at that time was not an option. In an annoyed tone of voice, he said he could cancel the appetizers along with everything else, perhaps hinting our exit. I notified the manager who saw the servers holding dishes to be served to our table that could not accommodate more. Despite my having repeatedly reminded the servers of this fact, the main dishes kept on coming. Soup and the main dishes were served before appetizers. I had preordered the food which they rushed to serve without regard to the small table assigned to our party of 10, plus our inability to eat fast. Koi Palace Dublin ruined the event by their disorganized service and manger's attitude. We went to the Koi Palace in Dublin to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. Go when you're getting close to hungry, not yet starving or better yet send someone to put your name on the list. Trays are fine for most foods but some others may lose some of its crunch or steaming goodness while being shopped around. We often order mainly from the menu so that items come straight from the kitchen as opposed to being walked around on trays by servers. English and Chinese are both provided with some helpful pictures here and there too. Their menu is good, complete with the traditional dim sum items but other options exists as well. Unlike other larger places where you have to literally flag someone down or stick the tea pot in their face as they rush by. ![]() When your tea bottle empties, someone comes within 5 minutes to pick it up and replace it with hot water. Unlike most authentic Asian places, the service here is fairly good. That said, once you get in, the meal is great. You can tell by the line going out the door at all hours regardless of season or meal times. This place is as good as it gets so go eat there go often and go hungry. The empty tea pots are quickly refilled with water. Once you pay the check, they quickly clean up and bring in the new table. The restaurant is also super efficient as there is never an empty table for long. The quality of the food is fantastic and everything is always freshly cooked with carts and waiters with trays of food walking quickly around the restaurant all the time. But their dim sum staples like shrimp dumplings, siu mai are top notch. ![]() My favorites are the coffee flavored spare ribs and the rice-noodle-wrapped fried doughnut. The dim sum is some of the most authentic and usually has some more premium items that no other restaurant has. You should expect a 45-60 min wait at least unless you are a regular and know one of the managers. ![]() The line out the doors on weekends speaks to that as well. Every time I come home to visit the parents, we come here for some dim sum as this place is the best.
